Nader ignored by media

Obviously the media needs to give the lions share of news coverage to McCain and Obama, but it does seem that they’ve completely ignored Ralph Nader. Has anyone seen any news coverage of the guy? He is running for president after all.

Yes, he’s got no shot at winning, but third party candidates can still be good for the body politic by raising issues that would otherwise be ignored and questioning assumptions that no one else will. I think at least some news coverage would be appropriate. Apparently, so does Nader:

It’s a rather unusual ad for a presidential candidate, though not so odd as Mike Gravel’s “I’m going to stare into the camera and then throw a rock into a pond” campaign ad.
